SUMMARY
Situated on a quiet one-way lane in the heart of Santa Fe’s storied East Side, this fully renovated 1930s adobe home offers the best of both worlds: La Pluma feels like a world away, yet it’s just a short stroll to Canyon Road’s celebrated galleries and restaurants. Inside, organic elements, richly layered textures, and comfortable furnishings in natural materials and warm neutral tones cultivate a feeling of laid-back luxury.

A dedicated workspace and a fully equipped kitchen support both creativity and comfort, whether you’re here to unwind or dive into a passion project. End the day with a soak in the spa bath, a book by the fireplace, or stargazing in one of the three private outdoor spaces. After a restful night, you’ll wake to birdsong, blue skies, and all the inspiration Santa Fe has to offer.

LIVING AREA
La Pluma’s warm and welcoming living space is anchored by a cozy and convenient gas fireplace, natural textures, soft lighting, and thoughtfully chosen furnishings. The Samsung Frame TV doubles as artwork when you’re not watching your favorites on Netflix, Apple TV, Prime Video, or Xfinity cable TV. In warm weather, open the front door to allow the high-desert breeze to move through the house, or click on the mini split to efficiently cool the space. A vintage writing desk offers one of two landing zones to organize your thoughts, work on your creative project, or pen a note.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Equal parts elegant and functional, the fully equipped chef’s kitchen features high-end stainless-steel appliances, open shelving, and a reverse osmosis water system. Options for your morning coffee ritual include pour-over supplies from Fellow and Hario, a classic Bodum French press, and a conventional drip coffee maker. Select local ingredients from the twice-weekly Santa Fe Farmer’s Market and create a nourishing meal. You can use one of our favorite cookbooks for inspiration. There’s a gas grill outdoors. The expansive travertine island with seating for four is the perfect space to savor a meal when you’re not out exploring the City Different.

BED AND BATHS
The bedroom is a study in serenity. Rest easy in the hand-crafted bed with a queen-sized Tempur-Pedic Cloud mattress layered in luxury linens by Frette and Parachute. Draw the light filtering shades, or invite the morning sunlight to filter in. Step into the spa-inspired bathroom to find a deep soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, Turkish towels, and a calming palette of handcrafted tile and polished finishes. A spacious walk-in closet accommodates longer stays with ease. Responsive remote controlled mini splits in both the bedroom and bathroom allow you to adjust the spaces to your ideal temperature year-round. Down the hall from the bedroom, a separate powder room with a full-size washer and dryer brings added convenience and privacy for guests.

OUTDOOR SPACE
La Pluma offers three private outdoor areas, each with its own mood. Greet the morning sun from the east-facing porch or the bistro table for two tucked into the front garden. While away the afternoon on the side patio or sprawl out on outdoor sofa in the secluded back patio. Surrounded by old adobe and stone walls, these are spaces made for barefoot mornings, golden hour photo edits, or stargazing into the night. Off-street parking for up to two vehicles is provided.

It was a pleasure staying at this pristine one-bedroom situated in the heart of the east side of Santa Fe

It was a pleasure staying at this pristine one-bedroom situated in the heart of the east side of Santa Fe. One bedroom doesn’t really do it justice – it’s spacious and has three small, beautifully appointed gardens set around the property. Very quiet neighborhood. An easy 6-7 min stroll past the adobes to canyon road art galleries and restaurants (eg. Geronimo) and cafes (eg. the Santa Fe Teahouse & Bistro). Everything first class.

We loved the location

We loved the location. We did not rent a car so you really need to be mobile without one even though Uber/Lyft readily available. Such a cute cottage and charming porch and back patio. Kitchen was well stocked.

I have stayed in many Two Casitas properties, and La Pluma is now at the top of my list. Exceptional home.

Truly beautiful home, with comfortable and tasteful decor

Truly beautiful home, with comfortable and tasteful decor. The bathrooms and kitchen are both lovely and modern. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked–with coffee in the fridge and snacks left on the counter for us, as well as an array of cookware and dinnerware. We were in Santa Fe during three chilly evenings (lows in the teens) and were incredibly grateful for the electric fireplace and split heating system. Excellent location within walking distance of the galleries on Canyon Road and restaurants. The WiFi password originally provided was incorrect, and Two Casitas immediately responded to my text message with the necessary information to get online. Our only small disappointment was the memory foam pillows–which we found to be hard and uncomfortable. Overall, though, we loved this Airbnb. It is a beautiful, clean and comfortable space.
