Your home provided the perfect space for our family reunion, the large open living room allowed for everyone to find a comfortable area to have a intimate conversation, watch a game or share a meal.

Beautiful adobe house, cute yard, close to the main square.

We have stayed at numerous VRBO/AirBnB homes over the years, and this one was perfect. Every time my wife or I thought about something we might want or need in the house, all we had to do was glance around and it was there. So well thought out. Loved being able to walk to the main square in a matter of minutes. The morning coffee was from Starbucks one block away and our favorite restaurant was literally located right off the gravel driveway. Went there twice in 3 days. Great rental property!

Very charming!

The home is lovely. It would be nice if there was more comfortable seating in the living room though. With another couple staying with us it was hard to sit and visit other than at the kitchen table. it was so hot that we could not sit on the patio in the morning as it gets so much sun and at night there is a lot of traffic noise. But overall it was very charming.
Thank you.

We truly enjoyed a 6-night stay at Val de Sol's Two Casitas. The property location is very nice, near a baseball park and the governor's mansion, within walking distance of downtown for able-bodied guests, and had beautiful views, nice decor, up-to-date appliances, ample kitchen items, and also a generous welcome basket was provided that included bottle of wine, chips and salsa, and freshly ground coffee. We toured several museums, galleries, shops, and went to the Santa Fe Opera during our visit, and also enjoyed some great restaurants: Il Piatto, The Plaza Cafe, Palacios, and La Fonda at the Plaza. But our favorite time was sunrise and sunset---the views from the patio were stunning, and the air was dry and crisp. We could hear coyotes in the distance at night. Everything was just as displayed in the photos and description on the VRBO/HomeAway website. Two Casitas welcomed us with a text message just in advance of our arrival, and provided an emergency number too. Our first morning, a representative stopped by to drop off extra keys and change the front porch lightbulb, so the service was quite prompt and attentive.

We loved staying in this property, truly a home away from home nestled into a residential neiborhood of adobe houses. It felt like a dream and enabled us to envision ourselves living in New Mexico one day!

Great House

I could totally live in this house. We stayed there twice and loved it both times. It is in a great location where you can walk to the downtown area but also has a tucked away feeling that gives you privacy. The house has all the amenities that you could want! Hope to stay again.

Location, Ambience, All the Amenities

This adobe is pretty perfect. The location is just blocks from restaurants, shopping, museums - easy walking - yet quiet and tucked away in a very private courtyard. The owners have kept the charm of historic Santa Fe and yet updated enough to have everything you need. The gourmet kitchen is fantastic and there was nothing we did not find included. All the beds were excellent with quality linens. Beautiful, yet small, bathrooms with great decor and top notch towels. Living and dining rooms are spacious and comfortable. Again, TV, WiFi, music, games, library all right there. Outside there is space for dining - also a grill - and smaller areas tucked away for reading or just relaxing. The flowers were awesome and overall the courtyard area is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Everything in the listing was accurate as well as the photos. What they can't say or show is how charming and perfectly appointed this house is. I would return in a heart beat. Our weather was unseasonably hot, but the adobe cooled at night and we closed up during the day so it was quite enjoyable even with the heat.

Loved the place.
I hadn’t realized how large Santa Fe blocks are. The place is not really walkable to the plaza. But we had a car, so all was fine.

Location is perfect for driving to Santa Fe Opera!

Cheery, inviting, and relaxing.

We had a marvelous day at this house. The decor was lovely and inviting. Everything worked well and there were many extras in the kitchen and bath to make our time enjoyable. Working with this company was a breeze and they were quickly responsive to our one request while we were there. The air conditioning kept us cool even on the hottest days and the house was very quiet. Our family of 5 and our dog had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Thanks for providing a great house as we visited Santa Fe.

Comfortable Casita

Well maintained casita within an easy walk of downtown Santa Fe. Kitchen and bathrooms are up to date. The front porch and the backyard patio are nice places to have some wine and cheese. The flowers in the front are an additional asset.

The only negative, which I do not include in my ratings, is that the directions to the place were just wrong. The directions said to go east on Acequia Madre, from Paseo de Peralta, for 1 mile. In fact, Acequia Madre becomes one way against you after 0.4 mi, and even if you negotiate this, 918A is at 0.6 mi. You cannot go 1 mi. before hitting a second one way against you. Without phone guidance we would have had a hard time finding our place. The directions given to our friends for their two casitas place were also wrong. Please do some quality control on the directions. A map sketch would have helped a lot.

Very enjoyable stay and will likely return. Although it has obviously been renovated recently, the property and the furnishings were very appropriate to Santa Fe. Beds, sofas and chairs were all nice and comfortable. And the location could not be any better. It's an easy walk to the Plaza---so much so that the only reason we used the chef's kitchen was to make coffee or to heat up our doggie bags from the night before.

Lovely home, somewhat near downtown

This was a lovely home with a peaceful outdoor sitting area. It was not as close to downtown as we originally thought it would be, but we could still walk there.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The only challenge for us was that we like to cook in for breakfast and lunch. Most places we stay have at least some kitchen basics like salt and oil, but there was none of that here. Not a huge deal, but you need to prepare for that.
The owners were helpful and attentive prior to arrival. So, just a few misconceptions and minor inconveniences, but overall a comfortable stay.

Response from Two Casitas

We are happy that you had a great stay and found the location walkable to all that SF has to offer. We work hard to equip homes with all the kitchen supplies one would need except for cooking supplies as everyone is different. The homes do have quality coffee and sugar provided. We look forward to having you again!
