Two Casitas Reviews

One suggestion I would make is to put window covering over the upstairs bathroom. Because the window is not frosted, my wife was uncomfortable. Also, the parking situation was a bit confusing. We had two vehicles, one of which would fit the garage. I never knew if I could park in the driveway or needed to park on the street. You might be a little more specific. We would definitely stay in the property again!!!

Everything was wonderful. I had everything I could possibly need to feel comfortable for a week long stay. The staff was pleasant and responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend two casitas to friends coming to the area for a visit.

Beautifully decorated, very clean, and contained everything we needed! Easy walk to plaza and excellent restaurants were within easy walking distance. It is a safe, quiet place to stay. I would stay there again.

What. A warm welcoming place this was to stay! The house is just so lovely, although it was frigid outside we stayed warm and toasty inside in front of the toasty kiva fire. The house is so covenient to downtown Santa Fe but was completely private and quiet. It’s a great place to stay while traveling with your pets as the yard completely fenced! A warm welcoming touch was a lovely bottle of wine and a special treat of Hatch Chile salsa and chips that awaited us when we arrived. Wendy at Two Casitas was great to communicate with too!

The house was beautiful, and well equipped, however the location map on VRBO was totally misleading and the location we thought we would be in near the plaza was not accurate. I sent the manager a copy of the map to show how the home's location was totally misrepresented. This is the first time this has happened in all of the years I have rented VRBO's. I have knee issues and the walk was to far for me to the plaza, 15 minutes in good weather, 20 to 30 in snow. I thought we were going to be closer and booked all of our reservations accordingly.
The other issue was the furnace, it was quite loud when it came on and woke us up.

If it wasn't for the fact that the map was misleading, we would not have rented this house.
It was beautiful, and perfect for two couples, it just was not the right location.

La Luz is a beautiful home in a great location to both the Plaza and Canyon Road. The home is comfortable and well appointed. Everything was as stated in the property overview. Any surprises were completely pleasant ones. We would definitely stay there again or in another of their properties.

Lovely home with all the details handled. Well stocked kitchen!

Great house to use as a central base for exploring downtown Santa Fe. It is within walking distance of a number of museums, great restaurants and shops. We like to cook and the kitchen was wonderfully equipped. Nice living room for hanging out and playing board games.

We stayed at this charming casita over Christmas and brought our two small dogs. We loved all the special touches they did to make us feel at home. We were welcomed with a very nice bottle of wine and chips and salsa. They even have pet bowls and a pet bed there. The kitchen is well equipped to help you create meals. We loved how close it is to walk to the Railyard District and the Plaza. We walked our dogs down by the walking trail on the river which was great. I would recommend this adorable casita to anyone who wants to experience Santa Fe and all it offers.

Great property! Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the fireplace. We did find the property lacking in a coat closet or hooks or someway, other than kitchen chairs or couch to get rid of all of our coats. We loved having the smart TV. Thank you for our welcome gift-so thoughtful- thank you for an immaculate property. A little sign on the wall saying LINDA would have decreased a couple moments of confusion (no big deal!) We will be back!

We had a great time staying at the La Luz in Santa Fe.

The entire experience from start to finish was a 10. This was as good an experience as we could have hoped for beginning with the initial reservation all the way through checkout.

Absolutely wonderful place - amazingly well appointed, incredible art, cozy, confortable and exceptional views. Great location !

Wonderful property and very complete amenities

House has been very nicely updated with terrific, modern bathrooms and incredibly comfortable common areas. The walk to the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe takes less than 10 minutes and getting to Canyon Road takes even less. Great experience.

The only thing I would suggest is a place or hooks to hang your coats. Maybe in the hallway. Other than that the place is perfect. I would try to fix the gate at some point. No biggie but a bit of a pain to bungie it every time. Thanks.
