Our family would definitely book this property again and recommend it to others. You just have to read the guest book to understand how wonderful it is.

I was comfortable in the casita when I walked in the door! We were able to walk to the square and canyon road. It was a wonderful time; I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Cozy, wonderful aesthetic qualities (sophisticated and well-considered art all around), super kitchen with all equipment needed. We spent a week here over Thanksgiving assuming we would need to go to a restaurant on the big day. We arrived to realize that this is the best stocked kitchen of any rental I have experienced and cancelled that reservation. It even had a small turkey roasting pan and rack. Knives were sharp. We loved loved loved this place for cooking, hanging out and comfortable sleeping.

The property met all expectations and more! A majestic setting just a few miles away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe. The interior was well appointed and comfortable. A problem regarding the configuration of a bedroom was the only bump in our otherwise smooth road in the land of enchantment. We all agreed, however, that we would return next year. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay in the casita. The weather was cool, so we lit the fire each night. It was the perfect size for three - very comfortable and cosy. It was also great to have a well-equipped kitchen so we could eat in when we needed a break from eating out! That said, great restaurants are very close by. It is a ~25-30 min walk to the Plaza, but many Canyon Rd galleries and plenty of food options are within a short walk. We had a hire car, so this option was perfect.

Due to a cancellation, we were fortunate to be able to book this casita on short notice for the Thanksgiving holiday. We loved it! While small, this casita was large enough to sleep three people and two dogs. We had everything we needed and were able to fix a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Radiant floor heating was such a plus -- even the dogs enjoyed it. The owner, Sue, is a local artist whose art graces the casita, and her impeccable sense of taste makes the space elegant. She was a wonderful host. As for location: perfect. Within walking distance of just about everything, with a park across the street that was ideal for the pooches. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Fireplace needs a little fixing but everything was great!!

The house is as pictured inside, with southwest decor and rustic flavor. It is about a ten minute drive to the plaza in the center of town, but the house is out on a winding road that feels somewhat remote. Our first night we were woken by coyotes, which was neat for non-locals. As is noted if you read the description carefully, it is really more a two bed room house; the third bedroom is a den with a fold-out couch. It is necessary to walk through the den to reach the master bathroom and bedroom. The layout was spacious for our family of 4, but might not work as well for 7 people.
The management company made themselves very available but there were no problems to address. The house was clean and the hot tub was really nice out under the stars with the snowy mountain view.

Wendy, Thanks for the clear directions regarding how to access the lockbox. A couple of times before we were challenged by those little contraptions. This time your thoroughness made it work smoothly. The driving directions were very clear and helpful. In the future, you might note where a couple of super markets are located in case people want to stock up prior to arriving at your properties.

Everything was great. Only suggestion is regarding wood for fireplace. We had to go out and buy bundles to have wood pieces small enough to create a fire effectively. It would be nice if you provided some kindling and smaller pieces of wood. Other than that, all was good!

This house was beautiful. The 3 bedrooms were large with distance between them so you still had privacy. The home was furnished with beautiful art, the décor was lovely. Awesome location, you could walk to the Railyard, and the Square. (we even took a long walk to Canyon Road). I especially appreciated how well stocked the house is, lovely plates, drink ware, lots of wine glasses. It was cold when we were there so we took full advantage of the fireplace and loved the smell of the pinon wood permeating the house. The house was so comfortable and lovingly kept. We will definitely be back! Everything was perfect.

My wife couldn't have been happier with the arrangements. We were about a block off Canyon Rd, long walk or quick drive to the Plaza. Wendy and her staff were great and helped with arranging to have flowers delivered for my wife's birthday. We both loved having a stand-alone property instead of a hotel. The Kiva was a hit and we rarely used the heater on our chilly trip. We would book again with Two Casitas

Exactly as photographed — spotlessly clean, beautiful southwestern decor and everything in working order! We arrived in the middle of a cold spell in November, so although we appreciated the little gated garden and porch, were not able to sit outside. Instead, we turned on the gas fireplace and were very cozy and comfortable in the living room. We are a couple in our 70’s whose criteria for a rental is to have a king-size bed, walk-in shower, bedside tables with lamps for reading and comfortable furniture — this rental met those expectations and more with the upscale, tasteful decor. Lots of creature comforts and attention to detail — the 3-way lamps were actually outfitted with working 3-way bulbs, small bottles of shampoo and lotion in the bathroom and even a well-planned “junk drawer” in the kitchen if you needed scissors or tape! The kitchen looked well appointed, but to be honest, all we used was the coffee maker in the morning (and a corkscrew in the evening 😏). We tend to eat out on vacation and there are so many fun restaurants in Santa Fe. Considering our age, we opted to drive to town —- 5 minutes. It isn’t a particularly interesting or beautiful walk anyway, so save your energy for shopping. We also used one of the convenient parking spots across from the garage rather than risk scratching our rental car doors in the narrow garage. We loved it and would highly recommend this rental!

Great place to stay as we could walk to the main square, galleries and most restaurants. Firm mattresses provided great sleep and were especially appreciated after hiking. Kitchen is well appointed. Comfortable furniture. Well maintained and clean. Neighbors -- if they were there -- very quiet. Wished it had been a bit warmer for us to spend time outside on the patio. Great lighting and heat lamps in "cozy" bathrooms (reminded me of some of the bathrooms in bed & breakfast places in Scotland). Two bedrooms with drapery doorways might be a concern for people wanting to shut a door and have privacy. Door knob assembly instead of "hook & eye" for the bathroom between the two bedrooms would be appreciated. Grill was not used as it was dirty and not attractive. Definitely need better sign, or some other visual marker, for the driveway. The gravel "road" looks more like a walkway. All of us went past the opening onto the road several times and had to ask for directions from close-by businesses to find the entrance. Best to enter the driveway when traveling on the opposite side of the road as the turn into the driveway is narrow. If you have a large, wide, vehicle -- truck, SUV -- careful not to scratch on the metal posts which have screws protruding into the driveway. Would be nice to have some kindling along with the wood. Could not get fire started with just newspaper. Instructions -- copies of the owners' manuals? -- would be nice for being able to just play music (ie, not TV watching). Once we got used to the driveway, the rest of the "negatives" above were minor. We had a great time and would gladly stay again!
