Great location...great fireplace...great value. Full marks!

Exactly as photographed — spotlessly clean, beautiful southwestern decor and everything in working order! We arrived in the middle of a cold spell in November, so although we appreciated the little gated garden and porch, were not able to sit outside. Instead, we turned on the gas fireplace and were very cozy and comfortable in the living room. We are a couple in our 70’s whose criteria for a rental is to have a king-size bed, walk-in shower, bedside tables with lamps for reading and comfortable furniture — this rental met those expectations and more with the upscale, tasteful decor. Lots of creature comforts and attention to detail — the 3-way lamps were actually outfitted with working 3-way bulbs, small bottles of shampoo and lotion in the bathroom and even a well-planned “junk drawer” in the kitchen if you needed scissors or tape! The kitchen looked well appointed, but to be honest, all we used was the coffee maker in the morning (and a corkscrew in the evening 😏). We tend to eat out on vacation and there are so many fun restaurants in Santa Fe. Considering our age, we opted to drive to town —- 5 minutes. It isn’t a particularly interesting or beautiful walk anyway, so save your energy for shopping. We also used one of the convenient parking spots across from the garage rather than risk scratching our rental car doors in the narrow garage. We loved it and would highly recommend this rental!

Great place to stay as we could walk to the main square, galleries and most restaurants. Firm mattresses provided great sleep and were especially appreciated after hiking. Kitchen is well appointed. Comfortable furniture. Well maintained and clean. Neighbors -- if they were there -- very quiet. Wished it had been a bit warmer for us to spend time outside on the patio. Great lighting and heat lamps in "cozy" bathrooms (reminded me of some of the bathrooms in bed & breakfast places in Scotland). Two bedrooms with drapery doorways might be a concern for people wanting to shut a door and have privacy. Door knob assembly instead of "hook & eye" for the bathroom between the two bedrooms would be appreciated. Grill was not used as it was dirty and not attractive. Definitely need better sign, or some other visual marker, for the driveway. The gravel "road" looks more like a walkway. All of us went past the opening onto the road several times and had to ask for directions from close-by businesses to find the entrance. Best to enter the driveway when traveling on the opposite side of the road as the turn into the driveway is narrow. If you have a large, wide, vehicle -- truck, SUV -- careful not to scratch on the metal posts which have screws protruding into the driveway. Would be nice to have some kindling along with the wood. Could not get fire started with just newspaper. Instructions -- copies of the owners' manuals? -- would be nice for being able to just play music (ie, not TV watching). Once we got used to the driveway, the rest of the "negatives" above were minor. We had a great time and would gladly stay again!

Away from it all, but close to everything. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Wonderful stay at our little casita - LUNA! My partner and I were joined by my four adult children from all over the country and celebrated Thanksgiving with a little family reunion. Can't think of a better place to do so. We enjoyed the traditional pueblo style LUNA offers, fires in the Kiva fireplace, wonderful tiled kitchen with tinned cabinets, and intimate dining room perfect for the six of us. Would highly recommend Two Casitas and LUNA!

Please equip kitchen with the following: teakettle, mixing bowls (stainless?), cookie sheets, casserole baking dish, pitcher, salad spinner, scrub brushes. By the way there WAS a mixer and I was told there wasn't one so I toted my Kitchen Aid from home...

The only thing that could make it better is more comfortable seating for watching tv.

Two Casitas is an excellent vacation rental company in Santa Fe. They go above and beyond on all levels - customer service, amenities, and the properties themselves. This is our third time renting with Two Casitas and we will definitely use them time and time again.
We liked La Luz a lot but it was not our favorite Two Casitas property. Having two fireplaces was great as was the outdoor space/various courtyards. The kitchen is well-equipped and had high-end appliances. The location is convenient and parking was easy.

Had a wonderful time. Only issue was he fireplace worked intermittently. No big deal.

We will for sure rent again when we come to Santa Fe!

As indicated when we arrived, the issue of the configuration in the one bedroom was frustrating. I had made several calls t confirm tthat twin beds would be made. We did the change ourselves??, but I was disappointed that no representative from the firm followed up in person or by phone.
The property is as described, and we would recommend it. We hope to return.

This home is tastefully decorated, and was equipped with everything our group of 6 adults needed for a long weekend stay. It was impeccably clean and towels are thick and soft. The management company was quick to respond to our questions, and the location is under 10 minutes from downtown. We only had a couple issues. The two main bedrooms have very cozy beds, but the pullout in the den wasn’t too comfortable for an adult. Also, a word of caution if it’s a cold season, the home is heated with radiant heat, and most of the house was warm enough after we raised the thermostat, but the master bedroom side always stayed cold. The weather was chilly at night during our stay, so we needed an extra comforter there. I don’t think the radiant heat was extended through the floor of that room. Finally, the hot tub could use a cleaning. Overall, I would recommend the house.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Artist Adobe with our family (couple with 3 adult children)! The house is charming, comfortable, and very convenient to downtown/Plaza activities. We also enjoyed several of the very-nearby restaurants recommended in the handbook -- a lovely surprise. The kitchen is well-equipped, though we only prepared breakfasts. Artist Adobe was a perfect home base for our first visit to Santa Fe.

Comfortable, spotless casita to enjoy Santa Fe. Close to the historic downtown and shopping. Two bedrooms with ensuite for privacy, fully equipped kitchen, and fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wisteria, and especially enjoyed walking through the courtyard and its gardens everyday before we started our adventures.

Need a hair dryer in both bathrooms. Get rid of metal utensils. Already ruining the non stick pans. We put all the plastic utensils in holder on top of countertop so hopefully next round of people use those. Needs a cutting board to protect counters. Also need some basic kitchen cleaners to clean after cooking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Two Casitas, would so stay here again.

We really liked the Kiva, and the ceiling radiant heat. Nice, cozy place.
Shortcomings: lights were too bright and too high a K rating. Spoiled the "charm." Suggest 2700-3000 degree K for color temperature, maybe with dimmers.
Also, the exterior doors were hard to operate. First, the key safe made it difficult to grasp the entrance knob - suggest a separate mount for the key safe. The backset (distance from the door jamb to the knob was too short to get a grip on the F&R doorknobs - suggest lever handles with bigger backset.
Screen doors and latches damaged/worn.
Otherwise we are happy to have spent a few days there. Nice firewood selection.

This casita was just perfect for my husband and me. When we arrived, there was some construction in the driveway (probably done now) that caught us and the owner off guard. The owner was super responsive and offered to move us. However, once we made our way to the casita, we fell in love with it and didn't want to move. The construction turned out to be no big deal, we didn't hear it, and we could walk around it. This place was walking distance to everything! I enjoyed several morning walks to the neighborhood market, canyon road was right around the corner and the plaza was a quick 15 minute walk. The little courtyard was a great space with a trickling water fountain. When we were inside, we opened the windows to hear the fountain and get some fresh air. The bed was super comfortable and big. We slept soooooooo good!

The biggest compliment we can share is our incredible desire to return to this perfect home as soon as possible. Thank you for a great family vacation retreat! Beautiful home, comfortable beds with luxurious bedding, well-stocked kitchen and the house was immaculately clean. The extra touches like ground coffee in the fridge and espresso pods, lots of cooking spices and the wonderful welcome bottle of 1967 wine were a very wonderful, thoughtful touch. Perfect home for 2 to 3 couples. Lots of privacy in every room with great shared spaces. If you enjoy beautiful walks, then this location is prime: Great coffee shop 2 blocks away, and Canyon Road closeby -- and if you don't feel like walking.....it's a $6 Uber to the Plaza and you don't have to worry about parking. Perfect!

I’m hoping the pillow thing was just overlooked, and that in the future things are resolved quicker. I have enjoyed all of the casitas we have stayed at in the past.
