So Santa Fe!

Love the location, furnishings, cleanliness, and of course the Santa Fe ambiance! Your own parking and all the amenities including books Santa Fe magazines food and drink. Nice welcome from the owner and off we were exploring!

Response from Two Casitas

Comfortable home; difficult driveway,

Our stay was comfortable and convenient. The house was well-appointed in terms of kitchen utensils, appliances, and linens. There were nice touches throughout. The artwork, especially the bison in the snow, was interesting, as were the books in the living room. The yard was private and inviting. The single issue for our small SUV was the long, narrow gravel driveway, with difficult access, unless one could make a wide swing into it. It was lucky that we left before trash day, or we would have had to drag 2 large bins down the gravel to the curb.

Response from Two Casitas

Hi Patricia,
Thank you so much for your review and I am happy that you've enjoyed your stay at Artist Adobe. Yes, the driveway is a bit long (60 yards) and we always take the trash out should there be any inconvenience with a guest doing it themselves. We just like to ensure the guests are aware, in our guest book, of the days and times for collection. One advantage of the long driveway is the privacy of the home being so far back from any road. The home was constructed 100 years ago or so!
Please think of us again for your next trip to Santa Fe. All the best, Richard

Artist Adobe Santa Fe

This charming property was all that it was advertised on much, much more. The property manager was prompt, professional and accommodating. The adobe was decorated with style, but designed for comfort. All the necessities were provided with additional touches which really gave the feel that you were at home. The kitchen, in particular, deserves special mention with its up-to-date appliances and fully-stocked cabinets with tools and accessories. The beds were comfortable with good quality linens. The bathrooms had first-rate towels in good supply. The location was perfect and just a short stroll to the plaza. I look forward to staying in this delightful adobe again.

Beautiful quiet home close to Plaza

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. The interior was lovely and the roof top deck was very nice. There are only 2 reasons I'm not giving it a 5: 1. Walkability. It is in very close vicinity to all of Santa Fe amenities except that from the location walking to town meant you were walking along narrow busy, traffic filled streets. 2. Too small dining table- Another challenge for our group was the size of the dining table with not quite enough chairs. There was a bench which was helpful for our kids, but it would have been uncomfortable for adults. We had 4 adults and 3 kids in our group.

Response from Two Casitas

I apologize that the home didn't fully live up to your expectations. Santa Fe is generally very pedestrian friendly, however the streets are quite old, and haven't been updated for modern standards. Tecolote is a 5-minute walk from The Plaza, but you do have to be alert. Thank you for pointing that out for future guests. Tecolote is better suited for 6 people, so having the extra person can be challenging when it comes to dining in the home. We apologize if that wasn't clear in the pictures or listing description.

Despite all that, we're thrilled that you enjoyed the home overall! Next time you book with us, we'll be sure to have a more detailed conversation to find the right home for you!

Charming little place close to everything

This is our first time this Santa Fe and we loved it. This casita was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The kitchen and bathroom are up to date and the bed is very comfortable with nice pillows as well. The back patio is great for a nice romantic dinner. Overall we loved this place and the Two Casitas team were great they had a nice bottle of wine waiting for our arrival. Thanks again!!

Beautiful home within walking distance of downtown

My family stayed in this home during spring break. It was my kids' first time seeing snow and we spent a good deal of our time in the mountains skiing. The house was in a great location, right across the street from a narrow park, and within walking distance of downtown Santa Fe. The house was clean and well stocked.

Wonderful! Thanks for staying with us!

Terrific quiet place to stay close to the Plaza

I stayed in Carmel for four nights. It is perfect for someone who wants to be in walking distance of the Plaza (10 minutes) and close to Canyon Road (2 minutes). Carmel is one of a cluster of residences set well back from East Palace Road and thus is very quiet.
Carmel is very well constructed and the kitchen is fantastic...everything you could want. The bed was very comfortable, the bedroom spacious (particularly for Santa Fe), and the bathroom great. There is also a washing machine and dryer for those staying longer. You also have covered parking for one car. The place was spotless which is a challenge given Santa Fe's dust. Full marks to the cleaning crew.
The only downside is you have no view. There is a small space outside the living room with a table and four chairs and a barbeque. No big deal unless you were planning to entertain the masses outdoors. So, inside space excellent, outside space compact. But stunning views are just minutes away.
Overall, an excellent place to stay in close and for those that enjoy walking rather than driving.
The Two Casitas folks were also very solicitous and a nice welcome gift awaited me.

Response from Two Casitas

Thank you for staying with Two Casitas and for sharing your experience! The Carmel is in a great location for exploring the best of Santa Fe and we are thrilled to hear you enjoyed the space. We hope to have the opportunity to be your host again!

Great for family group of 12

We stayed with two families of 5 and 2 adults (who's grown kids couldn't make the trip) and the house could not have been more perfect. All of the kids (6) were downstairs and very comfortable and the two sets of parents were upstairs off of the kitchen while the 2 empty nesters had their own things in a separate space. Seriously great and we would stay there again in a heart beat. Beautiful views from every window. About 30 min to the ski base, beautiful drive!!! Book this house, worth every penny. Thank you for the memories!

Response from Two Casitas

Thank you for the wonderful review! This is the ideal home for large groups in Santa Fe, and we are glad that you were comfortable. The views are truly spectacular in the home and on the way up to the ski basin, and we are glad you enjoyed them. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon!

an adorable, charming cottage ~ just perfect for our Santa Fe stay.

The darling cottage met our needs perfectly. We didn't even need to rent a car. Everything was within walking distance ~ grocery store, cafes, coffee shops, the Plaza, etc. Very comfy home tucked into a nice, quiet area. Would love to return to Santa Fe in the future!

Great casita for my birthday celebration!

We stayed again in Casa La Luz from Two Casitas, and my family was delighted to be in such a cozy home with kiva fireplaces and lots of Santa Fe charm. Wendy and her team were very accommodating and made our stay extra special!!

Enchanted Casita!

The Carmel Casita was one of the best vacation rentals we have had. The furnishings were warm and comfortable and the location could not be beat! 15 minutes (at a slow pace) to town and 4 minutes to Canyon Road (be sure to try The Teahouse for dinner!). The casita was extremely well furnished and clean. The kitchen had everything and more that you could ask for. It will be our first choice on our return trip to Santa Fe.

Response from Two Casitas

Thank you for the review! We're thrilled that we could be hosts to your party, and that you were so impressed with Carmel! The Teahouse is wonderful, and is often overlooked, so thank you for the recommendation. We also make sure our homes are ready to live and cook in, and it sounds like you did just that! We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.

Best Railyard District House!

The railyard district is the most fun, happening part of Santa Fe. Farmer's Market, new underground cinema, bistros & breweries- the railyard district is where you want to be if you're looking for Santa Fe fun and we're glad we learned this on our trip. Luckily, our house was right there- just a few blocks away from everything. We spent as much time out and about as we could but the time we spent at home was great to, the house is really cool, has great light, and great little grounds that would be good for animals and little ones running around. Friendly staff helped us out when we needed and when we checked in everything was clean and worked as intended. Stay here if you want to stay in the railyard district!

Response from Two Casitas

Thank you for taking the time to share your love of the Rail yard District and of the Luna house! We are so happy to hear the location worked well for you and that you enjoyed the home. We hope to see you back in Santa Fe soon!

Right in town!!!

First of all, this house is truly beautiful and you should be able to see that in the photos but in person it's like a million times cuter! Very Santa Fe. This "Bonita" house couldn't be closer to town because it's IN town- you can walk everywhere from here. Amenities were nice and we appreciated the contact we had at various times with the "Two Casitas" team/support. Many good restaurants in town, I would recommend both The Shed and La Choza and you can walk to both from here.
Only good things to say about this place =)

Response from Two Casitas

Hi Emma,

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at Bonita! Thank you so much for the stellar review as well!

Comfy quiet casita, 10-15 min walk to plaza

Very well maintained, comfortable and clean casita that is short (10-15 min) walk to the plaza. Bed was super comfortable, and materials / fixtures throughout of very nice quality. There is a small outside sitting area that catches southern sun. The fireplace is not close to the sitting area (and doesn't look like it is used much). Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Response from Two Casitas

Thank you for staying with us Christine. It was a pleasure having you in Santa Fe!

Great House, Great Vacation!!

We love Santa Fe and now we love Two Casitas and their Besos home. We were a quick walk to almost everything in town including the plaza and Canyon Road. Walking is a must and this house was in the middle of it all. The bed was nice, I think I mentioned it to the property management people and they said it was new- score! This Besos house looked and felt very Santa Fe but had modern conveniences and updated appliances and such. Cute outdoor space was appreciated.

Response from Two Casitas

Thank you for sharing your love of the Besos and Two Casitas! The best way to explore Santa Fe is on foot, so we are thrilled to hear the Besos location worked well and that you enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces. We greatly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you in Santa Fe again.
