Two Casitas Reviews

This casita was the perfect size for my stay. The location was great- just a few blocks from the Plaza and the Georgia O'Keefe museum. That made it close to several fabulous restaurants, too. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better price or location!

An east side sweet little jem. Perfect for the two of us. We walked to the Tea house just a block or so away and treated our selves to Geronimos again only a block away. The casita it self was so charming and comfy. We brought our dog and she was happy as can be in the smallish back yard. Two Casitas treated us like royalty. We arrived to a bottle of wonderful wine, blue corn chips and green chilli salsa. They were very responsive when we found the hair drier was no longer working and in 1/2 hour there was a brand new one at our front door. I highly recommend this home for a romantic stay in Santa Fe.

We stayed in the wonderful Plaza Casita over the holidays and let me tell you we couldn't of made a better choice! Totally comfortable, conveniently located (steps away from the historic Cathedral church and center of the Plaza) and so tastefully decorated. It was very quiet and private which was important to us. With such a great location, the comfort, the peace and quiet Plaza Casita offers its makes the perfect vacation home.

Desert Sky is a beautifully decorated and comfortable casita! The location on Alameda was perfect -- walking distance to the Plaza. Our request for de-icing the walk and attention to the TV were met with courtesy and promptness. We will definitely contact Wendy for our next visit to Santa Fe.

Wisteria is a very nice property in a very good location near the Plaza in Santa Fe. The unit is well appointed and has all the necessities. Unfortunately the winter cold has been devastating to the landscaping, but I'm sure it will be lovely again in the spring. Wendy, the property manager, was very good to work with and quite helpful. We enjoyed our visit to Santa Fe and Wisteria certainly added to the enjoyment.

The description of the place was ok, but from the pictures I thought it had much more light. The location is great! Walking distance from the central plaza, museums, coffee shops, restaurants Etc.
It was clean. If you want to cook there, there's not much kitchen utensils.
We didn't receive the checkin instructions till we called and then the person said on the phone they didn't have any reservation for that date. So we insisted and they finally found it. And they were not able to charge the taxes through our card. We had to leave cash.
Maybe I would recommend it, but the incident of not finding our reservation made us feel a little uncomfortable.
We enjoyed the museums, The Shed (restaurant), the Cooking School, the streets. And to to go by car: Georgia O'Keefe's house, the Audubon Preservation Area, Madri (on the Turquoise Trail). And after we left we heard about The Bonanza Ranch, a far west movies town.

Clean. Spacious and well cared for.

Puerta Del Sol is a stunning home. All the rooms are richly furnished and decorated and the kitchen is well furnished with high end appliances. We would return in a heartbeat.

This house had it all!! Our group of 8 ladies enjoyed every room of this interesting house. Each room offered a special delight- sometimes surprising us with a new item which we hadn't noticed before. The patio and yard views were beautiful and relaxing. I can't think of one item that we needed that was missing. Two Casitas was wonderful to work with. I would heartily recommend them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe! All 5 of us gals, gathering for an annual get together, thought the house was spectacular and the location excellent. There was lots of space to spread out among the 5 bedrooms and two living areas, not to mention the multiple decks. The house was equipped with everything you might need and was spotless when we arrived. The icing on the cake was hearing the sounds of Zozobra and watching the fireworks while sipping wine on the deck!

I was in Santa Fe for my niece's wedding but I also wanted to have a bit of a vacation. I couldn't have picked a better location! I was right in the heart of everything in a simply beautiful casita (I would call it an apartment, but that's because I was only a visitor to Santa Fe) right on the Plaza. The place was amazing--so much better than any hotel! Besides the wedding, I attended Zozobra at Marcy Field--cross that one off the bucket list. I was blocks from everything--and since Fiesta started with Zozobra, there was a wonderful art fair on the Plaza all weekend. There isn't a bad restaurant in the city--the Georgia O'Keefe museum is wonderful. Absolutely stay at Plaza Casita! The customer service before, after and during is impeccable. Besides The Shed, which everyone recommended, I enjoyed my meals at La Casa Sena and Terra Cotta Wine Bar. We ate lunch one day on the upper level of Coyote Cafe, and on my last night, I went to Rooftop Pizza for a stunning view of the sunset. Favorite shops would Chocolate & Cashmere--and Cupcakes.

This was a great house. It was clean, huge for two couples, well organized, had character, and was walking distance to most things we wanted to see in Santa Fe. The back patio was a special treat. Also, booking, self-check-in and follow up were excellent. We'll stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.

A well-located property, nicely maintained with all the amenities you would need for a visit to Santa Fe. Great appliances, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable seating. It is quite a long walk to the plaza; we did it once. It was too hot to do again, especially carrying parcels. Easy walking distance to the wonderful Clafoutis French bakery, driving in a matter of minutes to the Devargas mall, SantaCafe and Inn of the Anasazi restaurants on Washington Street. Truly the location can't be beat, certainly for everything we wanted to do, including visiting Ten Thousand Waves spa which is a 10 min. drive.

A few issues need to be addressed such as a loud a/c unit which we had to turn off due to the noise (bearings shot?) and the bed in the master bedroom could give some petite people a challenge since it is very high. I'm 5.3' in good physical condition and I had trouble getting in and out of the bed. A small footstool would be helpful. Overall, a lovely place to stay. Recommended.

Stayed here with my husband, mother, and two kids. The house was clean, comfortable, charming, and well-equipped (kitchen, laundry, etc). Lovely front yard to sit and drink coffee in the AM. Great location close to downtown. Cute, quiet neighborhood.

Wisteria was absolutely perfect. Beautifully decorated, close to the square, spotlessly clean. Couldn't have asked for a better place to call home while visiting Santa Fe!

I originally tried to book another property from the host, but it was already reserved. So, for a free upgrade, we stayed at the Plaza Casita-on the Plaza. We were greeted with a personalized bottle of wine which was nice after a long drive. The casita was just as described in regards to location (walking distance to restaurants, galleries, etc.), cleanliness, amenities and layout. It exceeded my expectations! Correspondence with the host was timely and informative. We enjoyed our stay so much that my wife has already recommended this property to friends and relatives.

We had a delightful trip to Santa Fe and the Casa Luna was a big part in making that so. This was a perfect place for our family of 4 adults, one 12 yr old and two 3 yr olds to stay. The beds were all comfy and the linens were great. The kitchen was spectacular - so beautifully outfitted with everything anyone could want. The bag of coffee and cream cups in the refrigerator was an exceptionally nice touch. Thanks for that.

Your having all the books and games for the toddlers was great. They wanted each of the books read multiple times. And they loved all of those boxes of games.

Santa Fe is a terrific city and thank you so much for making our family vacation be so perfect.

The property is in a great location. It's interior is well appointed. The skylight in the bedroom could use some type of shade to keep the morning light. My stay was made less pleasant by an unfortunate experience beyond your control. I reported this to the management company and awaiting some action.

The unit was well appointed in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the Plaza. Two suggestions - the table on the front porch should be smaller. It was difficult to move around it and at times it felt like you might go over the edge. The bed in the upstairs bedroom was comfortable but it squeaked whenevery you moved. We had a great time staying there and would come back again.

The beautifully appointed Puerta del Sol was an enchanting place for our family's recent 6-night visit to Santa Fe. Four adults from Ohio and one from California traveled to Santa Fe for the commencement activities at St. John's College. Everything at the property was first class. We especially liked the exquisite artwork and comfortable furnishings. The house was the perfect size for relaxing. Plus, it was in a great location for downtown sightseeing. We wish we had found Two Casitas four years ago when our son started attending St. John's because Puerta del Sol provided the most comfortable accommodations we have experienced while visiting Santa Fe. We were spoiled and never want to stay in hotels again! We recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a memorable time with family away from home.
